Amway’s eSpring brand partners with the 52 SUPER SERIES to help participants and guests stay hydrated

Saint-Tropez, France, Tuesday 29th April – During the world’s leading grand prix monohull circuit, staying hydrated helps the world’s top sailors maintain maximum performance through the long, hard days on and off the water.

The 52 SUPER SERIES welcomes Amway, the world’s number one direct selling company, and its eSpring home water purifier brand as its new sustainability partner. “Amway is proud to provide 52 SUPER SERIES race participants, sponsors and guests with clean, great-tasting water at our one-of-a-kind eSpring Water Purifier Filling Station,” said Amway Chief Marketing Officer Melodie Nakhle.

The Filling Station spotlights the eSpring Water Purifier, which uses innovative UV-C LED technology and an exclusive e3 Carbon Filter to effectively reduce more than 170 contaminants and destroy up to 99.9% of bacteria, viruses and cysts* – all while it retains beneficial minerals such as calcium and magnesium that may be in drinking water.

One eSpring e3 Carbon Filter treats up to 5,000 liters of water per year – about the same amount consumed by the circuit over the course of a typical season. That’s equivalent to 10,000 500mL single-use plastic water bottles that would otherwise end up discarded – making eSpring the obvious sustainability choice for 52 SUPER SERIES.

“We live in a world where it can be difficult to access clean water that is free of microplastics and enriched with the right minerals,” said Nakhle. “Amway’s eSpring Water Purifier is a sustainable way to address this critical need, during the 52 SUPER SERIES, and every day in homes around the world.”

The three-station eSpring Filling Station has already been in use by all seven teams based out of the King Marine facility during the recent pre-season training camps in Valencia, Spain. It will be strategically positioned for the most widespread benefit of sailors, staff and visitors at successive 2025 regattas in Saint-Tropez, Baiona, Cascais, Puerto Portals, and Porto Cervo.

“We are excited to work with Amway in our shared commitment to reducing plastic dependency as part of our broader sustainability efforts,” enthuses Lars Böcking Sustainability Officer for the world’s leading grand prix monohull racing circuit.  “Through the eSpring Filling Stations, participants and guests can enjoy reliably clean, great-tasting water without unwanted contaminants and without creating even more trash for area landfills.”
