With the sea breeze built to 15 knots for the second race of the day, Platoon won after leading all the way around the course. They controlled the middle of the course early on and worked right to earn a solid lead at the WW1 mark ahead of Sled and Alegre. At the finish Alegre took second and Bronenosec made a big gain down the last run to take third. Azzurra lead the Royal Cup overall after finishing fifth in the second race today
