Takashi Okura’s Sled opened the fourth 52 SUPER SERIES regatta of the season – the Porto Cervo 52 SUPER SERIES Audi Sailing Week – in the best possible way: winning a light-winds, challenging 21-nautical-mile coastal race. The course took the fleet west, up and back, in a very benign “bomb alley”. Sorcha led after the first Windward-Leeward but suffered spinnaker problems and dropped to ninth place. Andy Soriano, with Andy Horton calling tactics, took second across the finish-line one minute and 30secs behind with Rán Racing third. Circuit leaders Platoon were seventh, and Quantum Racing 11th.
