Quantum Racing won Race 3 of the Cascais Cup to take the regatta lead overall.
With Ed Baird steering and Ado Stead calling tactics they recognised the early advantage on the right side of the course, inshore on the first upwind and lead around the top mark. Azzurra came into their own on the final third of the beat to round second while Provezza sailed a good first run to round the leeward gate in third.
Added to their two third places Quantum Racing now lead by two points ahead of Azzurra while an eighth for Spookie drop Steve Benjamin’s team to third overall
