A win for Ergin Imre’s Provezza lifts the Turkish team off the bottom of the leaderboard spot, promoting themselves to seventh overall. But at the top of the standings fourth for Platoon with Azzurra sixth moves Harm Muller Spreer’s team two points clear.
Provezza lead off the pin end in the lighter 7 to 9kts sea breeze and were just ahead of Quantum Racing all the way around the course. Platoon’s possible cushion diminished on the second round when Bronenosec passed them and at the same time Azzurra overtook Gladiator. So Platoon lead by two points over Azzurra. In third Bronenosec and Quantum Racing are on 25pts and fourth is Alegre with 34pts.
