Two races are expected today, the penultimate day of racing at the TP52 World Championship on the Bay of Palma. Although Azzurra are stood clear ahead by 14 points they remain the only team which has not had a race back in the real basement of the fleet. They have delivered a couple of impressive recoveries as well, not least after being squeezed out of the start they wanted in yesterday’s first race. Rather ominously perhaps, Vasco Vascotto was especially pleased yesterday to have found a little extra speed on Azzurra. Are they stoppable?
But in their wake the points table is extremely close with just five points between second and sixth and a whole raft of boats scrapping for a podium finish. The sea breeze will be much the same as yesterday. Quantum Racing are firing on all cylinders and getting better all the time….but then isn’t everyone?
