The long wait for light 8-knot wind today was worth it, as the only race of the day saw Hooligan scoring their first-ever 52SuperSeries win, with SLED very close with them around the track to finish second.
But the real drama was in the ranks, where a poor start by Quantum had them digging back through the pack to get to third at the finish, while Azzurra never recovered from a poor showing at the top of the first beat.
This allows Quantum to now enjoy a two-point lead going into tomorrow’s final day of racing, where the forecast is for only a little more wind than seen today.
